Enikő Bányász is a first-generation Hungarian artist who has a background in visual arts, and a passion for play-based education. She studied at PNCA for Illustration, at PCC for Early Childhood Education and Development, then completed her academic studies at PSU with a Bachelors in Art Practice.
Enikő believes in uplifting students through compassionate and inclusive creative teaching practices, while still having fun for all in mind. "Play" is at the crux of Enikő's philosophy, in both education and life outside of the classroom. She strives to bring warmth and inclusion into the classroom with playful experimentation in the art-making process, problem-solving and communication, while still maintaining a welcoming and mindful environment for everyone.
Outside of The Hangout, Enikő creates comics, paintings, plushies, clay figurines, and video/digital art using archaic technology!
